On it's maiden voyage in the year 2040, the "Event Horizon" attempts to make history by being the first space ship to travel faster than the speed of light and subsequently vanishes without a trace. Fast forward seven years, the ship mysteriously re-appears without any explanation. A deep salvage team of including the Event Horizon's creator, Dr. Weir (Sam Neill) take the rescue ship "Lewis & Clark" to investigate & search for survivors and clues as to where the ship has been. They reach the Event horizon and dock to begin their mission. Once on board, the crew begins to experience hallucinations. As the hours go by they begin to discover what happened to the previous crew. Will they suffer the same fate? An underrated yet awesome SciFi/Horror film with a very original story. One of the few films that I can say truly scared me while watching it...... A+
